About

May session of the urban gardening course is dedicated to plants in the White City architecture. We explore vegetation as a complementary element in local architecture and its urban functionality in fences, gates, and more. We start with a tour of the garden and the neighborhood, get to know the varieties that have become part of the cityscape, collect plants, and return to the studio to make prints. The Liebling Haus’ Urban Gardening Workshop is a monthly, multi-seasonal activity that focuses on vegetation from an urban-cultural perspective referencing architecture, conservation, design, and art. Sign up for the annual course and get a discount on the price of a single session. Photo: Zoltan Kluger, 1939, State Archives
